Michael Hoeweler (b. 1988) was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. After establishing his love for drawing and painting, he left for Baltimore, Maryland to study illustration at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Upon graduation, Michael made his way up to New York City and has lived and worked there for the past decade. He now resides a hop, skip, and jump away in Bloomfield, New Jersey, with his partner Billy and their cat, Mildred.

Michael’s work has been honored by American Illustration, The Society of Illustrators, The Society of Publication Designers, and The Society for News Design.
